My mum went to Beauxbatons, so she didn't know much about Hogwarts. Gryffindor sounded like the greatest house. Oh, classes. Wow. Um, charms, transfiguration and defence against the dark arts. I'm so scared for potions because I am shocking when it comes to cooking! How about you?"

Right after Valerie finished speaking, Mirabilis all but leaped from her arms and looked up at Elsie. He seemed to be sizing her up. "Miri!" Valerie gasped, not expecting the sudden movement. She bent down, too lazy to get off her nice comfy bed and scooped him up. "Sorry about him," Valerie said, gesturing towards the kitten.
