And the voice she had heard was definitely one of the first people to do so. She'd learnt she was pureblooded, and that her family perhaps had some morals that backed up your typical pureblooded family but she had shown her kindness and the thirteen year old appreciated that. "Hello" she smiled as she looked up. "I'm good thank you. Yourself?" she asked distracted by the vibrant lizard that was sat on Aurora's knee.

Aurora let Salvatore climb over her hands a bit as she looked up at Gwen, the girl was... different? She was a lot nicer than most other Slytherins and had a certain... airy quality. "I'm alright, I came down to look for some crickets, heard any?" she asked, but Salvatore was already off on the hunt, he's scuttled off her knee and disappeared under the shrubbery already. Aurora's gaze followed his path and she shrugged. "He'll be back when he's full."

"So, are you enjoying Hogwarts?" she asked, tucking a strand of her red hair behind her ear.
