Selina smiled back at Gideon to let him know that she was not angry at him for his comment. She simply wanted to clarify that she was not all bark and bite. There was a person under the fiery temper. Of course, that person was usually dominated by the impulse of Quidditch minor details.

When Elektra continued to poke fun at Selina she narrowed her blue eyes into slits. Elektra was always doing this when it came to Potions. Selina did not need to be reminded everyday that she was ruddy in Potions, Lafay already did that enough during the term. However, she was surprised when Gideon offered to help her out with the whole Potions issue, "Really? Like a tutor deal? Yeah, I could do that if you're up to it. Maybe you could actually teach me a thing or two. I doubt it though, others have tried."
