And so they wouldn't start fight over it ~~again~~ she asked, "Why were you away last term?" Was he in another school or...homeschooled? And why did he come back, and what year was he in? So many questions the curious girl wanted to ask but she didn't want to scare him away. She needed a distraction from the You-Know-Who (!).

Ooo. Touchy person. "It's ok. I'm not your boss" he said. He wasn't in the mood for arguing with Louisa and he wasn't about to fight over cleaning. If she wanted to be dirty it was her choice, although she shouldn't expect him to share food with her. Daniel followed her gaze to the staff table. "Anything intresting happen last year?" he asked casually. He studied the teachers and was surprised to find most of them were new. What had happened to them all? Not that Daniel cared, he hadn't been close to any of them.

Daniel had been busy looking at the teachers, there were some interesting female ones, that he didn't notice Louisa look over at the other students and only looked away from the table when she spoke. "I'm sure he's cool" He knew all Daniels were. Daniel chuckled a little at Louisa, even as she gave him a stern face. He wasn't afraid of her. "Really? So say, one day we come down for dinner and I happen to be sitting near you and loose my wand again, you wouldn't help me find it?" he asked. It made him wonder if she'd had a motive for helping him...no she couldn't, could she?

Daniel gave a little sigh, he was gonna get this alot wasn't he? He thought about how much to give away..."Well you see, after the year before last, I was feeling like hogwarts wasn't for me, you know?" There were limitations and he didn't like some people. He'd kind of been a loner and had only a handful of friends, not that he was gonna tell Louisa that. "I went Beauxbatons, my sister'd gone there and she said alright. But it turned out this place is better. So I'm back" Daniel looked around at the hall and the enchanted ceiling. It wasn't great but it was good enough. Looking to Louisa, Daniel thought he should say something so she didn't think that he was soppy. "So Louisa, how long have you been here? How do you like hogwarts." It was just conversation. Now he'd started, he'd have to carry it on
