Lorelai made her way across the room and sat on her bed. Probably a good idea to make sure the bed would be comfortable. No good sleeping uncomfortably if she was gonna be there for a year. Lorelai laid down on her back and looked up at the ceiling. Yeah, it wasn't a very interesting view so she sat up again and looked around. She was on her own. NO! That wasn't good. She couldn't have that. No way. Someone had to come and talk to her. But the people that were in there were already conversing with their friends. GOOD! Lorelai didn't feel much like meeting anyone new yet. So she'd wait and see if Maria came in. In the meantime, hair, make-up and nails.
Lorelai reached into her designer bag and took out her mirror, make-up and nail varnish. Hmm. What colour to use? Probably best to check everything else first.
Maria sighed and came up to the dorm and spotted Lorelai. She smiled and plopped onto her bed which happened to be right next to her.
"Oooo, someone's having fun" she giggled, grabbing her own bag and dumping out the entire contents.
"I have like nothing compared to you" she observed.
