Part of her wanted to ask who You-Know-Who was but she was a bit afraid of the answer and she was sure it would be in a book, so she could always look it up at a later date.
"Information Technology was like computers and stuff and design and technology was kind of how things were made. Once we had to make our own toy cars out of wood and glue and other materials and another time we had to make a pop up book for the younger students. P.E is physical education. I hated it, we played rounders and kwik cricket in the summer when we could go on the playing field, and hockey and netball in the winter." Olivia was glad that she'd never have to do any of that again. She was awful at it. No co-ordination at all. "R.E is religious education."
"A ghost used to teach a class? How did that happen?!"
"Hmm, maybe you're right. Hopefully, we never ever come across one!" Jez really didn't want to talk about such a gloomy subject right now - middle of joyous feast and all. "But ... what in the world is netball?" She was genuinely perplexed. "Don't you have- no, wait, I don't suppose you would have Quidditch in the Muggle world?" Probably not, Jez was guessing, probably not. "Well, apparently Professor Binns - that was the teacher's name - was a very,
very old man who'd been teaching for decades. The story goes that one day he'd gotten up from a snooze in front of the staff room fire, and had simply left his body behind! Apparently his daily routine never changed in the slightest." Jez giggled at the thought. "I used to have a ghost in my house - my great-great-uncle Derrick. He used to clatter around the upstairs hallways - he was particularly fond of the trophy room."
