Raising her eyebrows a little, Mia felt a small smirk of her own.
"Well your the Head Girl..." She didn't bother to respond about taking points from other houses, because no she couldn't do that.
"So how are things? I guess I better get in now because you're probably going to be so busy as soon as school officially starts." She looked up and down the Slythie table.
"Look at all those first years." They were so small and fragile looking, they were going to need lots of help.

"And I will not apologize to them. They were carrying forks," that funny word, "and I saw them poking eachother with them. Have you ever been poked with a fork?"
Rolling her eyes at her friend, Mia patted Destiny on the shoulder.
"Yes, yes congratulations on making..." she peered closer at the badge...
"Gryffindor Quidditch Captain? I didn't know you played Quidditch?" And for Gryffindor?
"Maybe you could join the Hufflepuff Gobstones team." Of course she wouldn't be as good as her.
Mia knew those looks well. Destiny had constantly given her looks when they were on safari together. And quite frankly the girl should be grateful that she was actually sitting here in the Great Hall. If it hadn't been for Mia stopping her from stealing all those animals, she would probably be in jail right now.
"As a matter of fact I have been poked with a fork." Those kids in the commune could get a little ferocious when they were hungry.
