"It's good to see you," she said to the two, though she was eyeing Eino and his stuttering. "I'm great. And my summer was....alright. Good, even. Maybe." She was indecisive. Surely the end counted for something, but did it make up for the entire holiday? Though, she wanted to avoid questions, so, "It's was good. What about yours? Did you do anything fun and exciting?" That was for the pair of them.
Her grin widened ever so slightly at her teammate's question. "Yeah." Hehehehehe. She nonchalantly swiped her hand across the badge as she went to scratch an 'itch' on her nose.
She drew her wand at their responses and twirled it in her fingers, contemplating whether she should use the spell or not. Surely, if she looked at the Staff table, she'd see if they were using the spell, but she didn't want to chance a glance for fear of her mood being ruined by someone else sitting in Little Professor's seat.
"My summer was splendid!" He had been very busy and got to travel to several different countries, so it had, possibly, been the best summer ever. Strangely, everyone else he had spoken to thus far didn't seem to have had such exciting summers, but maybe they just didn't want to share everything. Eino then listened for Ellie's answer to Vashti's question, in regards to the Quidditch Captain position, and watched as she showed it.
"Congratulations, Ellie!" He said and began clapping, somehow expecting everyone else to do the same, but when he noticed his were the only pair of hands applauding he stopped and put them in his pockets.
"I am sure you will do fantastic!" Hopefully, Ravenclaw would have a little more lucky, and better trained players this year, and give the other Houses a good fly for their galleons.
SPOILER!!: Vashti

Vashti smiled. Eventful and delightful. Well that was quite an original answer. She started to set down the spoon she'd been holding just as she noticed he was looking at it. Oh yeah, the silverware. Perhaps he had an idea as to why it was all like this? Vashti was about to ask when...
...
What was this about a hen?
She tuned back into the conversation just as the silverware was brought up. Scourgify? "It should work," she agreed with a nod. Cleaning things was what the spell did, after all. If it worked on cauldrons, surely it would work on silverware too.
"Well, if the Scourgify doesn't work, then perhaps Tergeo or Reparo might." Eino didn't really know exactly what tarnish was. Was it dirty or damage? Depending on which it was they would have to use the appropriate spell. They were askew, so they would have to mend them to their original shape with the Mending Charm, nonetheless. He didn't want to be the one to do it, though, not without permission. All of the silverware seemed to be like the ones they were holding so surely the house elves or someone else had been informed by now. Maybe they would have their first Charms lesson even before class start and learn a new spell to fix the silverware. He finally looked at Vashti and shrugged.
