Kennedy wasn't going to get into all the: 'My dad is an evil Slytherin guy so I didn't want to be one' now. There were lots of people present.
"I guess not," he said, mostly trying to convince himself. He grinned when she nudged him. It was nice of her to try to cheer him up.
"I know two people in my house, so it shouldn't too bad." There. A positive thought.
"Tsk, tsk, tsk," Kennedy shook his head.
"What if they are protesting Hogwarts?" he said. What if the elves didn't want to cook and clean for a bunch of teenagers anymore, eh?
"Thanks," he murmured and mimicked her action with the rest of his cutlery.

Kennedy nodded his head to agree with her statement, but as soon as she spoke she left.

Did he say something wrong? Eh. Maybe she wanted to go meet with her other friends. What a nice little girl to at least give him advice. He grinned and waved back at her.
