Friendly, not too crazy...except for one girl who had a look to kill. Perhaps if Adam thought that it would help she would ask the girl if she was alright, but he decided that maybe she just wanted to be left alone.
"Aww...bummer," Adam said with another little laugh. He was taking a sip of water when Paulie mentioned finding a frog in his living room. Adam couldn't stop his eyebrows from going up surprise. "Well...isn't that an interesting thing to find in your living room." Adam supposed there were worse things one could stumble upon...but still...a toad was rather odd. "I actually bought a puppy," Adam said with a little smirk as he set his goblet down. "I'll introduce him to you once we get up to the common rooms...and don't worry, he doesn't smell." Adam made sure to give JB a bath right before they left for the train...after all no one would appreciate him having a pet if the pet smelled as awful as the pen at the wizarding carnival had.
Adam gave Paulie a little smirk at the comment about the neighborhood moving. "So far they're still at the same house, but we'll see when it's time to go home for a break." Of course, Adam's parents hadn't even been there to say goodbye, so he wasn't even sure if they knew when the next time he was returning was going to be.
Louisa had literally jumped off the bench once the sorting was over and started walking spyishly through the students. First, she was sure to keep a blind eye on her house's table in case... 'the he & she' were around. Second, she had to find an empty seat somewhere els-
Okay, scratch that. Adam's back was staring right at her and she made a run for it, ignoring the fact that he was already seated around some students and slammed into his back her hands on his shoulder as she craned her neck forward, "
YOU'RE A GRYFFINDOR!" You know, pointing out the obvious and being too happy to hide her reluctance at the 'other issue' that was invading her mind.
Without a permission, she crammed herself between him and another student and sat down. Hopefully that person wouldn't do a fuss about it, it wasn't like she needed
that much of space anyways. "
Although I preferred Ravenclaw. It's fine. You look great in red and gold." She giggled and shook her head at her silliness.
Staring at the usual wooden table, usual sets of food tools that were...
O__o Huh? Why did Gryffindors have rusty tools? Her laugh was stopped abruptly as she examined a spoon, "
Why do they give you rusty spoons and forks?" She hadn't sat at their table yet but she was sure they had clean and neat ones every year. If she was free to go and check out on their own spoons and stuff, she would've gotten up and done that but... the he & she were probably around and Louisa was determined to keep her mood alive and good.
