He glanced down at the silverware. Why was everything dirty? How was he supposed to eat potatoes?
Adrianna looked over to see an older boy fidgeting with his robes. Then, as he looked at his silverware, his expression looked perplexed and disgusted at the same time. She couldn't help it, she giggled. She lifted a hand to smother it, but it only succeeded in making her laugh more. Finally, when she got a hold of herself, she took a breath and looked over at him.
"Are you okay? Is something wrong?" she asked him, wondering what had made him make such a strange face.

Adrianna looked away from the ceiling and over to a boy. She gave him a smile as he said that he was a first year- same year as her! "Hi!" she said with a warm smile. "I'm Adrianna, I'm a Gryffindor first year as well," she told him. Finally, someone her own age!

Adrianna jumped as a voice interrupted her thought about the ceiling. "The ceiling... it's fantastic!" she told the older boy with a smile. She looked down, slightly embarrassed that he had been able to tell that so easily. "That obvious, huh?" she said, managing a small smile. "Adrianna," she told him with a warm smile. "Nice to meet you William. I know! I can't wait to try all of it!" she said, looking over at the food. "What do you recommend?"
