Ah, brilliant. Gaby had made a friend who loved Quidditch, just like she did. 'Perhaps we should try out for the team together,' she said happily. 'Transfiguration sounds amazing too, but I'm not all too sure about Ancient Runes,' she told him. 'I'm awful at math, you see, so I'd just mess it all up completely,' she said, giggling. Math was definitely not her strong point. 'Not really, no,' she said thoughtfully. 'Being an Auror would be great, though. Or Minister for Magic... what about you, have you thought about it?'

"Hm, you're right, I haven't seen any either, but I believe ours is the... Grey Lady?" he frowned, not completely confident that was correct. "I'm sure they'll be floating around soon enough, maybe they just didn't want to scare us off the first night," Cael laughed.

"You should try out," Cael nudged her playfully, "I'll definitely be cheering you on, but I think Quidditch would be a bit rough on me, don't you agree? I think I'm more suited to holding the pom-pons..." Cael ran a hand through his hair and posed like a model before bursting into laughter.

"As far as the future's concerned, my parents were in the Ministry. I think I might intern there over one of our summers; politics seems like something I might be good at," Cael shrugged.

"You might have told me already, but did you bring a magical familiar to Hogwarts?"

Faina clapped her hands gently over Caelius's eyes. "Guess who!" She whispered in his ear.

Cael smiled as he felt Faina's hands cover his eyes and was glad she'd gotten the courage to come talk to him even though they hadn't been sorted into the same house. He had been slightly worried that after she met her housemates, Faina wouldn't want to associate with him anymore.

"Don't you know it's dangerous for a little snake to leave its den? And straight into the eagle's nest to boot!" Cael laughed as he gently pulled her hands away. "I'd know that voice anywhere; it's good to see you again, Fai. Getting on with the snakes alright?" he asked, hoping she was having a good time.
