Jerrod waited with the others and when his name finally was shouted out.
"Crawford, Jerrod."
He nervously stepped forward. He walked over to the stool and seated. He got the sorting hat placed on his head. Then the hat started to talk.
"Hmm.." The hat said. "Hmm.. I see many of your relatives has been in Ravenclaw.. They were all very smart even at young age, you are friendly to almost everyone, Hmm.. Though.. Hmm.. I think it will be.."
A few seconds silence.
"RAVENCLAW" The hat shouted.
Wai-Wai-Wait! WAIT A MOMENT! Me.. In Ravenclaw? Mom and Dad will be so proud of me! He thought and jumped of the stool. Jerrod blushed and started running to the Ravenclaw table to his new cheering housemates!
