He had gone back to petting the lump of bat in the front of his shirt when one of the older students spoke to him; looking up, he gave the guy a grin and a nod.

"Aye... was wondering who the ones for my own house were. Met a... red one? Gryffledor? On the train." He leaned out a little and looked at the boy's badge.

Ah. Apparently Mr. Green Badge was more important than the regular old badges. Salander? Salariel lit up. Not only was his house's boy badge more important than the rest, but their names were both weird and a little similar. This was awesome. He nodded in response to the question, taking the older boy's hand and trying to shake it in as firm and manly a fashion as he could.

"Salariel Caine. And yeah, first time here, but 'm a third year. Pleasure to meetcha, Head Boy."
