Flinching and twitching every three seconds, Evelyn hastily made her way to the Slytherin table once it was in her line of sight, and sat down next to Destiny. Merlin, why were there so many people this year?
Heaving a sigh, the seventh year looked to her friend, seeing that she was cleaning...something. What in Merlin's beard? "What is THAT?" she asked in horror, leaning AWAY from Destiny as she pointed at the THING she was holding.
WHAT WAS THAT!?
Sweet Merlin!
Was that stuck on grease or what? Actually, Destiny had her fair share of taking care of things with stuck on grease, but whatever was on that spoon, it was not coming off. Maybe it she used the sleeve of her robes..
But no, that would chance getting HER Gryffindor Quidditch Badge dirty, and it was shiny, she didn't want it to lose that shine.
Picking up a FORK, a fork that looked even dirtier that the spoon, she tried to scrape that stuff off of the spoon. Useless it was. Heaving a deep sigh, Destiny eyed the dirty butter knife, just about to pick that up to scrape the spoon when the voice of her best friend, and fellow student of authority sounded from next to her.
Huh?
She glanced down at the spoon in her hand, then to her friend, then back to the spoon.
"I think it's a spoon. I mean, it looks like one.. if you, maybe, tilt your head to the side, and imagine it was clean." Yeah. Holding it out closer to Evelyn, Destiny tilted her head.
"Dare me to lick it?"
