As she took a seat, she noticed that Gideon was giving her a somewhat confused look. He probably didn't want to or need to know her personal problems at the moment, nor did she really want to force them on him. Some lighthearted conversation would be most appreciated and welcomed.

Kurumi leaned her elbow on the armrest of the seat and ran her fingers through her hair. She really wasn't really sure what all to say at the moment, but a random thought appeared in her head and it came out before she could use her filtering system.

"So, Gideon...how do you get your hair to be so curly?"

"You're welcome, glad to be of service then," Gideon said with a polite smile at her in turn relaxing his mild look of confusion. The compartment went quiet for a short time and he couldn't help searching for something to talk about it between them. He knew he could always return to the topic of magical creatures especially dragons if nothing else came to mind. However Kurumi beat him to it breaking the silence as she spoke again causing the Gryffindor boy to laugh in amusement at the choice of topic.

"To be honest...just being my mother's son," he answered knowing he sure didn't anything special to get it that way. And his father had nearly pin straight dark locks so it wasn't from him.
