Sophie made her way into the carnival after she had been side-along apparated to the Alley by her grandmother. Her grandmother Matilda had errands to run whilst Sophie got together with her prefects and captain friends. The atmosphere was fantastic and the brunette wanted to go over and take a ride on the bumper brooms if there was time.

She had recieved her owl the same day she had gotten her acceptance letter to start her intense healer education at St Mungos. Her mother had insisted that she would break the news to her friends during the carnival. It would definitley raise brows and maybe even shock a few. Sophie spotted the familiar figures of Iris and Finlay by the food area. Heading for them she called out "Hi Iris! Hi Finlay!" coming up to them she asked smiling wide "How have your summer's been?"
