Right. He should have expected an answer like that from Mia. Although, he thought there was more than just wanting the challenge. But he decided he didn't want to hear it, so he didn't ask. He couldn't help but laugh as she explain how she ruined the boy's love life. "He should have told you who to avoid, don't you think?" So really, it wasn't her fault. Plus, Nikolai thought she could do no wrong anyhow.
He grinned over at her and gazed through the goggles a moment longer before handing them back to her. They still weren't that high up yet, and he'd rather use his own eyes to take in the sights. Or.. he'd rather see them up close with his own eyes. He chuckled when Mia mentioned his favorite part of the carnival, and he leaned over her to look down. They really should have stopped to eat first. "Did you see how big all the food was? We could probably share and still get full." Hint, hint.
He did not. Nikolai was just telling her that. Mia could name a dozen places right now of where they could go but she was not going to let him off that easily. It was HIS turn to choose. Apparently he had no problems in picking on her though. So she leant forward and seized his lips with hers and kissed him.
"Like you would ever find anyone else like me." she said as she pulled back with a smirk on her face.
"Yes he definitely should have." According to Carter though he had tried to tell her but she had already taken off on her adventure as a boy. It wasn't a life and death situation as far as she was concerned. She wondered what had happened after that and if Carter had met up with Caroline and sorted things out.
Mia eagerly took the goggles from him and put them to her eyes and looked out across the rooftops of London. It was so cool. They should have thought of getting a pair of these when they climbed the Eiffel Tower last year. Lowering the goggles when Nik spoke, she shook her head and laughed.
"Okay, okay. As soon as the ride is finished we'll go and get something to eat." She put the goggles back to her eyes still chuckling,
"You can't go anywhere without eating, can you?"
