Raven walked into the changing room excitedly. She was going to try on the new clothes she would wear at Hogwarts. First she would try on one of the black work robes. She looked in the mirror after she had it on. Hmm... she thought. A bit odd, but she looked good in it. Raven could make a paper bag look good though, so she wasn't surprised.
Next she tried on the black pointed hat and the winter cloak. The winter cloak ended up being very warm. She knew at that moment she wouldn't need any spells to keep her warm, although she thought some warm mittens might be nice. Ahh, she would have her parents owl mail her some, she pushed the thought away and tried on a white blouse, a grey cardigan, the hufflepuff tie, and a skirt. She also tried on a pair of white knee socks. She hoped the socks wouldn't fall down her legs. They always seemed to do that. Well, maybe there is a charm that can keep them from falling down, she thought hastily. They looked great. Lastly she exchanged the cardigan for a grey sweater. She decided she would get one sweater and one cardigan. She liked the cardigan better, but she knew that variety was always good. She didn't want to get bored of her school uniform.
Out of everything she tried on the item she liked the least was the hat and the item she liked the most was the hufflepuff tie. The yellow really made her eyes pop. They were blue and she always did think that yellow and blue looked good together. She exited the dressing room and walked toward the counter. But before buying she told her parents about how everything looked. They liked the sound of the uniform. "It really makes for school spirit! Don't you think, Victoria?" Michael Sloan asked his wife.
