“Mother!” Nova pouted, as she sat on the floor, her two younger, annoying siblings running around. They were playing pirates and the lost boys. Nova had ended up as a pirate, and her stupid siblings had tied her up.

“Mother! Untie me! I am too old to be playing stupid games like this.” The girl pouted up at her mother, who was just grinning.

“Darling…” Brody knelt down, undoing the silk rope that was around Nova’s wrists. “Does this belong to my dressing gown?” She asked, eyeing her eldest child.

“Hugo found it not me.” Nova giggled, before running off.
