"There's no problem." she sighed, almost like a pout, as she moved her gaze away from his eyes and down to his hand with hers before moving to the sliding glass door.
She didn't like it, but he had to work. Meh. And he was doing everything by hand?
She assumed he was. His uncle was a muggle wasn't he? Moving away from a house where they didn't have to hide who they were to THAT...that was another problem in her opinion. Starting to play with his hair again, at the nape his neck, she narrowed her eyes mischievously as she glanced back to him. "Why do you have to work for him anyway?"
There was no problem so her lips did say yet as the Gryffindor observed her face was suggesting the otherwise. And that totally affected him completely changing his mood and making him to start thinking over what he could do to cheer her up. Actually there were some options yet he was not sure if this was the right time and the place.
So, looking back into her hazel eyes, he took both of her hands this time.
''Rose, really. I want to stay with you. I want it with all my heart. If only it was possible for me.''
Then he leaned forward to kiss her...but...only to stop upon hearing her next question. Eeeeeeeeh! Now apparently it was his turn to feel uncomfortable with the question that were directed to him. Surely, it was not his own will to work in a farm all summer not being able to see her. So, he needed to provide a good answer for her which...could only be the truth. Mostly because...there was no way he would lie to her.
''I...'' for the first time since he had stepped into the compartment, the boy looked away from her not really wanting to see the expression the words would cause.
''...need the money he'll give to me in exchange of it''
