Okay, that's a lie- I did, cause you sort of left it open in the other post...

And she told him she was pregnant...?

I love it, though!
Thanks, Abi

I feel sorry for Teddy, cause he thinks Abi (Wow that's weird to type) doesn't like him, but she really does, like she always has... But then, the way he was trying to stop her from leaving, it sounds like he might be falling for her, which would be amazing!
Ha, like I'd actually tell you!

Then, there's James, who needs to stop a cting like his Uncle Ron and let Teddy see Abi (again, slightly weird moment) so they sort everything out and live happily ever after!
Who said anything about living happily ever after?

Which means, Emily, you are not to go killing anyone off!
HA! No promises!
Love you, too!

New post!

“Just let me see her, Potter!” the person shouted and I froze. Teddy.

I cleared my throat as James looked back at me. I nodded slightly as I sat up on the couch and James let Teddy into our flat.

“Abi,” Teddy said shortly.

“Teddy,” I replied. Fred snorted while James rolled his eyes and Teddy and I both shot them dirty looks.

“Can you guys give us a second?” Teddy asked and I almost wanted to tell them to stay. I wasn’t sure if I was ready for the conversation I was about to have with Teddy Lupin. But Fred and James left anyway and Teddy took Fred’s place beside me before standing back up and pacing the room.

I watched him, half amused and half nervous. He ran a hand through his blue hair before looking at me. I gave him a half smile before it fell back into a frown.

“You can’t just spring that on me and leave,” he finally said. “You just left without letting me say anything.” My eyes flickered down to the carpet.

“Please, Teddy, this whole thing isn’t easy for me.”

“And you think it’s easy for me?”
he asked incredulously.

“I am so, so sorry. I just kinda freaked out. I mean, I always thought about if we’d get together, and it wasn’t like that. We were drunk, and I know that’s the only reason you’d ever even consider us…” He tried to interrupt but I help up a hand to stop him. “So, I left. Before I could get heartbroken even more by seeing the look on your face that meant it had been a mistake. I just couldn’t. And I’m so sorry for avoiding you and ignoring your letters. But you have to understand that I’ve been in love with you since I was seven.” I stopped suddenly when I realized what I’d said. My hand covered my mouth unconsciously and I let out a sob before bolting for my bedroom.

Teddy caught up to me, of course. Because I’m not really a fast runner. He pulled me back against his chest from behind and bent down so that he could speak deliberately in my ear.

“Don’t you dare leave again. I’m not going to let you leave and ignore me again, Abi. If you’d let me get a word in, you’d know that I’ve been in love with you since Romania. Maybe even before that, I don’t know.”

“That isn’t funny, Teddy. This isn’t some prank,” I whispered and he chuckled as he lightly kissed the spot behind my ear. I could feel his hot breath on my skin and I shivered.

“This isn’t a prank. I’m not being funny. I. Love. You. Mrs. Theodore Lupin.”

I laughed. “You haven’t called me that in ages,” I remarked. He twirled me around and hugged me tightly.

“Let’s fix that,” he whispered into my hair.

“What do we do, Teddy? I’m not ready for this, and I don’t think you are either,” I whispered. Teddy pulled me into his arms and I buried my face in the juncture of his neck.

“Your Dad is going to kill me,” he groaned and I laughed.

“I tell you we’re pregnant, and you can only worry about my father’s reaction?” I asked as I pulled back to give him a watery smile. He grinned as he kissed my forehead.

“We’ll find a way to get through it. Just remember you’re not alone; I’ll be there with you every step of the way,” he promised.

“Even when I tell my parents?” I asked with an innocent smile.

He gulped and I withheld a chuckle. “Ye-yeah, that, too.”

Teddy let out a strangled laugh before taking my hand in his. I really wanted to give a girly squeal, but then I would have looked like an idiot. So I didn’t.

“So, er, now that you’re pregnant with our love child and all, and we both confessed our undying love for the other, will you go on a date with me?” he asked as his cheeks turned a crimson color.

“I, er, oh, well, I… I’ll be right back!” I declared as I stood quickly. I know you must think I’m an idiot. Why would I leave when the guy I loved just ask me out? I have a good reason. I promise.

“What?” he asked incredulously.

“I promise I’ll be quick; I just need to take care of something before I can answer your question. Please, Teddy?” I kissed his forehead before quickly making my way out of the flat, leaving him in the living room. And then I Apparated to the one place I didn’t think I’d visit for a very long time. And I hadn’t. Not for at least two months now.

“Abigail? What are you doing here?” Dominique asked me with a trembling chin.

“I’m here to speak to Victoire. Is she here?” I asked, ignoring her pitiful look.

“And why should I let you? You ruined everything for me! Al-Alfie br-broke up with me because of you!” she wailed.

I rolled my eyes. Are all Veelas this dramatic? “I haven’t spoken to Alfie in ages, Dom. So whether he broke up with you or not, it had nothing to do with me,” I told her with an upturned eyebrow.

“Maybe if you talked to him…?” she asked me hopefully.

“Is Victoire here?” I asked her bluntly. The gall this woman has.

“F-Fine,” Dominique huffed. She left me standing on their doorstep while she went to get her sister, and I was suddenly incredibly nervous. What if she said no? Before I could think much longer on the fact, Victoire was standing in front of me.

“Abigail. It has been too long,” my cousin smiled at me. I breathed a tiny sigh in relief. At least she wasn’t mad at me for ignoring Dominique all this time.

She shut the door and led me to the porch swing. “I need to talk to you…about Teddy,” I said quietly and I noticed look of surprise on her face. She definitely hadn’t seen that one coming. Just wait, dear cousin.

“What about Teddy?” she asked suspiciously.

“We-well, he and I, that is to say… Would you care if I dated him?” I whispered finally.

Her tinkling laugh confused me for a moment before she grinned at me. “Why would I care? I’ve been dating Jason for a few months now, you know that.”

“Yes, but he’s still your ex-husband,” I whispered as I stared down at my lap.

“And he’s still my friend, and I’d want him to be happy. I want that for my cousin, too. If you’ll find it together, then so be it,” she smiled and my stomach twisted in knots.

“Really?” At her nod, I actually did squeal.

“On one condition,” she added and I managed to stifle my groan. So, so very close.

“Which is?” I asked hesitantly.

“You have to forgive Dominique. She knows she shouldn’t have done it and I can promise you that if she goes after Teddy, I’ll hex her myself.”

I grimaced before nodding reluctantly. She clapped her hands in excitement. “Even though I’ll forgive her, I’m still going to need space from her. And if she even dares to think about going after Teddy, I’ll hit her with a hex that will make the Cruciatus Curse a holiday,” I warned. Victoire giggled before nodding in agreement.

When I went back to Teddy that night, I told him everything. About Dominique and Alfie and why I left to go ask Victoire. I wasn’t about to go behind my cousin’s back with her ex-husband. It was too similar of a situation with Alfie, Dominique, and me. And he understood. And we went out on many a dates after that night.

But then it came the time to tell my parents. And I was petrified.

What do you think?
