Maybe he could find someone to come talk to her so that he didn't feel bad about leaving her by herself.
He gave up on that idea when she spoke again. Blowing out his breath in a huff he plopped back down on the bench opposite Louisa. "Yeah, we are." He didn't see why it mattered, but if Louisa was actually going to act like herself around him again then he'd answer her questions. "She's my girlfriend." That answered her question, right? He leaned forward again, back to how he'd been sitting before.
Did something actually stab her in the head? Because his words made no sense at first. His girlfriend? And this... serious attitude. He didn't even smile ever since he walked in here. And speaking of walking in here, why did he exactly decide to just stroll in here and hurt her? Oh. Right. Because he didn't know that his stupid face haunted her all night. She swallowed a few times before speaking again.
She expected her voice to crack or even come out as a whisper but somehow it was stronger than before.. and much bitter, "
So you lied to me. Not a week ago, you were all about no girlfriends for Dallin. Only yourself and the big wide blue ocean and Florida beach!" She scowled at him and wanted to shake him from the collar for lying to her, "
You just lied!" Grrr... and who was the girlfriend, again? ELLIE! One of the people she's considered a friend! It wasn't like they were close or anything but Louisa used to LIKE the girl. 'Used to' being the keyword.
