As Emily peacefully turned the page she heard the door slide open. She just looked up as Cove shouted her name, causing her to drop her book. "Hi Cove" she smiled picking up her book and marking her place. "Oh it's fine. I was only reading sinc there was no one to talk to."
She beamed and placed her book back in her trunk.

Turning back she saw Cove grinning. She was planning something. "Why are you grinning?" she asked suspiciously, narrowing her eyes at her friend. Whatever it was, it would be evil.
"This is my owl Sunny by the way." she said showing Cove the little ball of feathers asleep in cage next to her. "She's quite small, but can get the job done."
