Fyo reached for a bowl of Cream of Chicken Soup, as the queue of students waiting to be sorted came to an end, and the Sorting Hat fell silent and was taken away. He caught sight of Torin, seated at the Hufflepuff table, talking to a bunch of people as he munched on something. One of the new girls, a tallish blonde with a radiant smile, had just walked over to the badger, and slid into one of the seats next to him.

It looked like Torin’s new friend - Brody, wasn’t it? – was in Hufflepuff, too.

She seemed nice.
