Finding the last compartment open she quickly stepped inside and plopped into a seat letting Rufus jump over to the one opposite her and make himself at home. Silly monkey. With a sigh she stretches out and her fingers begin to play with the pendant around her neck and she was lost in thought as she watched out the windows at the others milling about on the platform.
After leaving the feast for the first time Nika felt relieved to be going home. Normally she'd be dreading this moment, but due to some certain events at the feast Nika wanted home. She looked around behind her incase Emily or Samira were close by and sighed rather loudly out of relief that they weren't. She quickly ran into a random compartment and took a seat as far away from the door as possible. That way if one of the two second years that she didn't want to talked to walked in then she'd have a chance of escaping.
What she really wanted more than anything at the moment was a happy little hufflepuff that could try cheering her up or telling her the right thing to do. She let out a small little whimper and lifted her face from her hands.
BLINK.
Blink. Blink.
Uh... She wasn't alone. Well that's awkward. Nika quickly changed her expression to a small little smile as she looked at the girl sitting in the same compartment.
"Hiya." The girl seemed a lot older than her, but she also looked really familiar. Nika had a hunch that she'd seen this girl in the common room before.
"I don't think we've ever met... I'm Nika Adler," And I need a hufflepuff. Except she didn't say the last bit. Hehe.
