What?! Rafe had to respect her wishes, but Marilyn seemed to be completely ignoring his. He was fighting a losing battle. They were really over...no, they couldn't be. Rafe refused to accept it. He would just have to prove himself and start all over, but how? This was something he couldn't dwell on the very moment, but he knew he would do something. When you love someone that much you simply couldn't let them go. Especially not after what he and Marilyn had been through. "If your one wish is for me to respect and accept you and Carter...then could you grant me my one wish?" If they weren't officially a couple or anything, it really wasn't too much to ask.
