Luckily (?) Mia came along to keep Neptune from pondering over Spitty too much. They hadn't really spoken much since that weird, horrible knitting lesson. The one Neptune never wanted to speak of again. She was a little SUSPICIOUS of this ... supposed gift. "Oh...? It's not my birthday..." But Neptune DID like presents! She held her hands out for a GIFT! When they wanted to be, Hufflepuffs were so nice. The yellow-clad always made her miss Jake.

But back to the main problem: A broken hearted badger boy! She SIGHED at his question, "He never would have apologized, so it's ... it's not applicable. And he sure didn't sit at a feast and pine and feel sorry." Neptune shrugged as nonchalantly as possible, but this conversation had turned to weird places. Her own fault, offering up advice, but still. "You're a good boy, Trey." Definitely.

She paused when the Gryffindor brought over... food? Or something?

"Legend Chosen told me that if you wait, it might be too late. It was good advice, and I pass it on to you." Neptune gave him one last little hug, then slid down to offer Mia some space. She knew what it was like to be told and told and TOLD what to do, so she'd lay off and let him be. Poor wittle badger baby.
No, no, Neptune...what if he HAD? Treyen wouldn't ask anymore about it, though, because he senses the tone and clearly the girl wasn't going to answer him. Also, she was sliiiiightly right. It didn't apply. Ravenclaw girls were part of the equation, but nothing else was. So, completely different situation. Got it.

A good boy? Right. He shrugged, and managed another small smile. It actually meant very little coming from her at this precise moment. Mostly because 'good' was not near how he felt.

Either way, he kept on listening and...Legend, eh? Legend was L-E-G-E-N-D, and Treyen should probably follow that advice, no? "Thanks, Neptune," he said, the small smile just got a little bigger.

SPOILER!!: Kurumi

Now...her very presence seemed to upset him. It was especially obvious due to his smile not being nearly as sparkly as it usually was.

And then, he spoke. Her eyes widened and her expression became one of confusion.

"Did...did I do something wrong?" she asked looking down. Her hands began to tug on her black skirt. "I...I haven't even seen you since the day in the Trophy Room...." How could she have done anything wrong? Unless, she had said something is passing that had then gotten to him. But, she had avoided bringing him up in conversation or else risk her hair turning a sad color again.

It wasn't so much what he said, but more in the manner in which he said it. It was clear that she HAD done something wrong, and the only thing she could think of was her admitting that she liked him. Perhaps that had been the mistake. Perhaps she should have denied it when he had brought it up, when she had found the Aparecium...

Kurumi looked over at the two girls that Treyen had been speaking with and bowed in apology. Perhaps that was why Treyen was seemed a bit...cold...towards her. Perhaps she had interrupted something. "S-S-Sorry for interrupting then..." she said, tugging on her pony tail. She slowly began to turn around. Her head hung low and she looked at her shoes before taking one slow clicking step towards her table.

Oh, dear Gilderoy! YES, Kurumi, you did something wrong. And he made a mistake thanks to you. But, it's not like he could voice that out for everyone to hear, no?

No.

And then she mentioned the Trophy Room....shush! She was going to let everyone know...wait, no, she only said she hadn't seen him ever since. GOOD. Yes, exactly, she was a very good girl for pretending nothing ever happened between then. However, Treyen neither nodded nor shook his head, he was going to mention that she should get back again...but then she apologized for interrupting...that earned her a nod, and he just watched her go.

Things were certainly different between these two.

SPOILER!!: Mia and Neptune

How could people be sad when they were about to get away from school for a couple of months. Yeah Hogwarts was cool and everything but everyone needed a holiday. She of course would love to leave permanently seeing how she was not going into any sort of magical fields for a career but Nik insisted on her finishing her education.

Whatever.

Seriously, Neptune, we love you. He would've ended up saying something he'd regret to Mia if the Ravenclaw hadn't intervened. So, thanks Neptune, again. And he was even MORE glad that Mia didn't bring the subject up, he truly was. Which is he responded to her smile with a shrug.

SPOILER!!: Arya

But because she'd come now, after the prefect had seen the state her best friend was in, all she got was a worried and distracted Arya.

When did all these other students arrive?

"Very much so," Was all she was able to say before her attention was back on Treyen. And sorta Neptune since she was sharing stories and advice and hopefully helping.

Tugging on a strand of hair, she looked over at Ellie again... then back to her co-prefect. "I still think you should talk to her... before it's too late. Even if she doesn't want to speak to you, just talk and..." And what? She didn't know.

And now Kurumi was here with cupcakes, and Arya barely listened to the words coming out of the girl's mouth. But she did catch how Treyen dismissed her... that was odd. Hm.

Arya WAS sorta-kinda-getting-alongish with Miss Bott, mostly for Treyen's sake. And they were doing better now that Mia had come along (why wasn't she helping with Treyen like she'd done with her?!?), the Huffe was content listening to the pair pass summer plans while casting worried glances to her co-prefect up until Neptune started tossing that scarf around.

"Hey!" It was all she could get out before shaking her head while trying to spit remove the bits of material that'd made it into her mouth. She shot a look over to the Claw and FROWNED. "Watch where you swing that thing."

Talk to her. That was all he wanted to do for the past two weeks, but will she believe anything he had to say? Because Ellie probably wouldn't. She'd already had issues with believing him before this happened, and now she even had an excuse for not trusting him ever again.

So, yeah, that was rather inconvenient. Him. Talking.

"Maybe," that was all. That's all Treyen said. Before the whole deal with the scarf began.

SPOILER!!: Neptune again

....secret inner giggles were had.

You know what? Treyen got up. "I'm not really hungry, Arya, so...I think I'll go," which meant...please, be in charge and take care of the Hufflepuffs while he was out of sight? Yes, that's what it meant.

Then he turned to Neptune, "Thank you, really, and...," what else could he say to someone he wasn't going to see at Hogwarts anymore??? "I promise I'll write often," he said, adding a wink and his regular smile. The smile was slightly diminished as his eyes went to Mia, since the smile was for Neptune and Neptune only. She was the one graduating, after all.

And with that, he started to walk away from the Hufflepuff table. Off to the Common Room, of course.
