MMM? She flipped her hair off her shoulder haughtily, but the grin remained. Maybe Neptune would miss Spitty a teensy tiny bit.

Neptune DID laugh when Trey told her it was complicated. She'd written the manual on how to make a relationship complicated! Honestly. And he still thought she didn't understand? Pfff.

"Let's look at the facts," Neptune Know It All began. She laid a hand on Trey's back, meant to be comforting. "You say you ONLY like Ellie. You say you didn't MEAN to kiss some other girl. AND you've apparently already apologized with no avail." She drummed her fingers on his back thoughtfully. So where did that leave him? Hmm.

"...I knew a boy once that kissed some other girls," when Neptune had KIND of thought he was only going to kiss her... ehh..."...and if HE would have ever apologized for that... and meant it like you do... I ..." again, what WOULD Neptune have done? "Maybe you've done your part. I guess you're allowed to wallow in sadness. I'm sorry, Trey."

...Neptune put her ear and cheek to his back, where he was slumped, and sort of gave him another weird hug/snuggle.

She gave Neptune a look. Her worry about the Claw who'd only just seemingly stopped calling her Spitty five seconds ago? Absolute nonsense.

Or maybe just nonsense. Hm.

She listened to Treyen, head resting on her arm that lay across the table. It was complicated, it seemed so by what he was saying, but what could she say? She'd never been through what he's going through right now. And the few incidents she did have with Sabel weren't relevant at all to this.

It really was all up to Neptune, Merlin help them all.

Sulking more at the expression he made when responding to her question, she bit her bottom lip and looked over at Ellie again. "I know, it just..." Yeah, she was gonna leave this to Neptune.

Who seemed to know something about this. For once she was glad to have the girl around.

"Maybe we can help you fix this...

FACTS? Ugh. Treyen didn't want to listen to any facts. So, he just closed his eyes and listened as Neptune summed up the whole problem. THAT made it sound even worse than it was, because he'd apologized...and no good came out of that.

He almost didn't feel Neptune's hand on his back until she started to tap her fingers against him. He was NO table, okay? At least Arya was not leaning on him too.

Treyen caught that. Experience. She'd been on the other side. "Neptune...," he said, as his arm dropped to the side so he could see her better, "...would he have gotten forgiveness on you behalf if he'd apologized to you?" Not that it was related, Ellie was different from Neptune in so many ways. Starting by the hair. But now he was just curious because Neptune never finished that part of the sentence.

Then that odd hug managed to make him want to sit straight again, but instead of looking to Neptune, he looked sideways...to Arya. "I don't even know if she wants to talk to me," she never said he couldn't. And he wanted to respect her wishes, no?

SPOILER!!: Mia

Of course she had someone very special waiting at home for her so that's why she was so happy. Just one more term and she got to be with him all the time.

As she approached the Hufflepuff table she was surprised to see that there weren't that many people there. She gave the firstie a bright smile as she passed. A small wave to the Quidditch Captain and then she stopped right beside Miss Neptune Bott.

"Hey Arya. Trey. Looking forward to the summer holidays?" Mia was. She was going on a safari with Destiny and then off to Russia to be with Nik. She turned towards the Ravenclaw and smiled a little. "I have something for you Neptune."

Someone was happy.

He didn't like it. "Mmhmm," yeah, that was his WHOLE answer. Truth be told, he was looking forward to summer, because then his distractions will become a constant in his life and he'll try to keep his mind away from any thought related to Ellie.

He probably won't succeed, but at least he ought to try.

SPOILER!!: Kurumi >_<

Inside the box was the cupcakes she had wanted to give Treyen after the Hufflepuff match, but she hadn't been able to find him. She assumed he had been rushed to the hospital wing, and upon being discharged had returned to his prefecting duties.

It was going on closer to two months since they had spoken, but it certainly felt more like an eternity. Sure THAT feeling that made her hair want to turn pink was still there, but it had transformed slightly - although Kurumi was unaware of this.

Spotting Treyen, Kurumi made her way towards him and reached out to tap him softly on the shoulder. "H-H-Hello," she said timidly. Nearly two months and that is the best she could come up with? Kurumi really felt like smacking her forehead with a dictionary. "B-Before you say anything," she continued as her gaze remained on the ground and her feet shuffled back and forth. "These...these past weeks, erm, month or so have been hard. I...I've missed you...and, um...well...this is something I wanted to give you after the match...but I couldn't find you..so I have been keeping it safe until now." She set the box on the table and began tugging on her hair that was slowly turning a slightly burnt orange shade of pink. "I...I will be abroad all summer...starting a few days after we arrive in London, but...but I hope...I hope we can see each other more when I get back."

Her cheeks flushed a bit and she stood very still for several moment. She probably should warn him about the letter in one of the cupcakes. She would feel terrible if he choked on it.

OH, NO.

Treyen breathed in and out as he saw the one person who's name he hasn't utter in weeks. Like, after the kiss. The stupid kiss that ruined his life. He was hoping she wouldn't bring it up, though, not when both Neptune and Arya were aware of what had happened.

And she was carrying a box.

He, of course, pretended he wasn't seeing her, and kind of expected her to give that box to someone else. Really, he didn't want to see her. But she was coming to him, because he felt the tapping and had no other choice but to turn his head to look at her.

Oh! Good thing she said 'Before you say anything' because he was going to say 'What now, Kurumi?' but he didn't. So, he just listened. He looked rather tired too. Exhausted, actually. OWLs and losing a Championship game, plus his girl, well, had managed to tire him quite a bit.

The match. The match. He hated that match. His last Quidditch game ever, no? Apparently.

There was a small smile on his face after she placed the box on the table. If he had to bet, he'd bet those were cupcakes. But before he could say thank you, he noticed that her hair was slowly changing colors...didn't she say she got better at controlling her abilities? That was super strange.

Wait, wait, seeing each other? "Yeah, Kurumi, I don't think we'll be seeing each other this summer," not that they ever did. But he should say that.

"Thanks," he said, nodding to the box, "But I think you better head back to your table and enjoy the feast," that was the nicest way possible he could say 'Please, go away' without hurting her, right?
