Emily coudn't help but laugh as Cove put the glasses on and declared herself her therapist. For that moment Emily forgot about her problems and was just having fun. But her bad mood soon returned.

"Me and Nika havn't spoken all year because of it. She was to upset." Now she was looking at her drink again, still refusing to cry.
"But you see... I don't have to go anymore. My mam..." She rubbed her eyes again and finished her drink. Her birth mum wasn't worth her tears. She had abandoned her twice now, and the feeling she had felt all those years ago was back. She woudn't cry.
"Anyway I tried to tell Nika, but she won't believe me! She think's I'm just messing with her! I woudn't do that though! You know I woudn't!"
