Had Carter just invited her to spend the summer with him...and his muggle family?

Marilyn was stunned. No one had ever really asked her to spend vacation with them...and he was telling her how much he still cared for her. Her face reflected her shock. "You really want me to go with you and your family?"

She was a little disbelieving...A lot of things had happened to her...and she just lacked trust. "You aren't just doing this out of pity, are you?" The blonde gave him a playful look, masking her suspicion. "This is a big step, you know?"
