"Puh-lease," She said with a grin quite like his, pushing her goblet towards him. But he was already on his third--hmm, hopefully he wasn't competing with her. Cause she hated losing. As soon as the goofball was done pouring it, Ruby dumped the entire gobletful into her thirsty mouth--a little butterbeer even dribbled down her chin. Wiping it hastily, Ruby grinned stupidly. Was it just her orrr were her eyes getting droopy? Shaking her head, she poured herself 2 more gobletfuls and drank them in succession.

Setting down her 5 goblet of butterbeer sloppily, the redheaded lioness started swaying on the spot. "Hey Brae..." She said, nudging the goofball beside her. Goofball, hehe, such a funny word. Eyes twinkling, Ruby turned to face the brown-haired boy.
Like a good little waiter boy, Braeden wasted no time in filling Ruby's goblet with some more butterbeer. He couldn't stop staring at her, though. She was so… smiley. It was so terribly odd but pleasant to look at; it actually reminded him of that one she'd been under the influence of who-knows-what (the magic perfumes from the cart they had knocked down accidentally during their chase, though they never figured out that had been the cause of Ruby's abnormal behaviour), and she'd been uncharacteristically sweet and nice.

"OH!"
The Gryffindork jumped in his seat in surprise as he felt the butterbeer drip all over the hand that held the goblet. He'd been distracted and failed to notice the goblet was already full. With a sheepish grin, he handed Ruby the goblet and proceeded to wipe his hand clean before taking a large gulp of butterbeer. Straight from the jug.
Well, what was he supposed to do?! Keep pouring it into the goblet 23647 more times?! Nahhh, he'd just save himself time and drink it straight from the source. Besides, the jug was magical and re-filled itself, so that no matter how much the boy took, its contents were always the same.

Setting the jug down a bit sloppily, causing some of the liquid inside to splash out onto the table, Braeden burped obnoxiously.

"Oh, sorry…" He smiled to himself like a little boy, and turned to Ruby as the girl nudged him, unaware of the butterbeer mustache that now graced his upper lip, making him look like some much older mature man from the 1920s. Or something. "Yes, m'dear?" His brown eyes suddenly widened. "Hey… do you hear that?!" Had the butterbeer given him magically acute hearing?! He could've sworn he'd just heard music, but, as he looked around, he saw no one in the Great Hall had any music playing from anywhere.

Maybe he was going crazy?

…… Nahhhhh.
