So when his partner in crime of damage and destruction asked him how he was fairing, he simply offered a quiet groan and a wave of his hand. He wasn't even sure what the gesture meant, but he was breathing and alive so it had to be a positive sign. The blood he felt on the back of his neck however, and the sting of cold air and dust on his arms indicated that not all was 100% peachy keen.

But it wasn't going to kill him. Or at least that's what Sabel decided as he slowly, and finally, drew himself into a sitting position. The world spun a little and for a brief second there seemed to be two Emily's offering their hands, which made trying to take up the offer a bit of a challenge. A frown and another try later and he finally got it, rising unsteadily to his feet with her help.

"Thanks.......ooooooohhhhh....." Each and every thought trickled off as his eyes swept the room with a vision that wasn't influenced by the heat of dueling. "Did we....." Glancing at Emily he gave her an uncertain look. "We....did that didn't we?"
Hearing Sabel's groan of acknowledgement Emily could help but laugh a little, though she immediately regretted it as she felt a sudden stabbing pain in her chest. Ugh... this was not good. But at least they were both alive.

Helping Sabel to his feet was a trickier task than she had anticipated, but they eventually got there. She placed other hand still clutching her wand under his elbow to help steady him. He looked... a little woozy. But all was well... just needed to adjust, duelling was after all... a very physical sport.

Again Emily turned her attention to the room as Sabel starred at it. It was pretty spectacular. The damage was... very extensive.
"Yep... we sure did," she said wincing slightly as the pain in her chest intensified.
"I'm wondering whether or not we should just run for it... or in our cases, hobble for it." The A&C peeps might not be too thrilled at their handy work, though in all fairness they had done pretty well and should be commended for it. As if that would happen though.
“I know I could use a shower.” Because clearly that was more important that receiving some medical attention.
