Taking that into consideration, Damien began to wonder if he should confide in Lockhart and speak to him about Isobel. To mention names might open a can of worms he's not ready to deal with, but Treyen knew Isobel, and probably had known her for quite some time (given the Quidditch background).

Shaking his head slightly the fifth year sighed heavily. "It's Isobel, Treyen --the girl, it's -- it's Isobel."

Obvious? How come? Damien wasn't giving names, which was totally okay, names weren't necessary. But he needed to provide some sort of information as to why it was obvious for Treyen to understand that bit.

And he was providing it. Okay.

Treyen's face fell instantly, and he hoped that Damien didn't notice, because truthfully, it had nothing to do with him nor with what he was telling him, yet Treyen was reminded of the recent events that managed to mess up whatever he'd had with Ellie.

"But are they together? A kiss doesn't necessarily mean they are," because he wasn't dating Kurumi or being with her, he'd only kissed her once, and that meant nothing, "You do like her," he said, and added something else, "As more than just a friend, I'm afraid," otherwise that kiss wouldn't have minded much to him.

Treyen had even gotten upset when he saw Ellie dance with Dallin last year, and so he understood Damien right now. But he also knew that those little things can sometimes mean nothing.

Heeeey! He was sort of smiling, that was so nice and refreshing to see! "It's finally great to know you consider me one as well," now he didn't have to tell Nessie what he had before. If she ever asked again, then he could say they were friends.

He wasn't expecting that. AT ALL. So, his eyes opened wide when he mentioned who it was, the girl, Isobel. "But she's not seeing anyone, I think," not that he would've known, but they were together in the Yearbook as well, so, he would've heard something, no?
