"She chose to," he began again before taking a slight pause, "Decided on another guy, I guess --" It left a bad taste in his mouth to even say it. And that was the part that bothered Damien the most. That Isobel had been with another guy. Perhaps it wouldn't have meant so much if she'd opened up to one of her best girl friends.
