She put it in the damaged beyond repair pile. It had worked fine in the first task, but then she had discovered the tail had bent 90 degrees, and the body of the broomstick was going to fall apart any minute. Then she had fallen to the ground, which had been to much for the broomstick. It was now split in two, the end had fallen off, and now most of the sticks at the end had fallen out... 'Stupid broomstick!' Rose cursed under her breath

"Ewwwwwww!" Ronnie said. "Oh right." Ronnie said getting back on her broom. "So we're back to knocking people off brooms or what?" she asked, just to make sure. Then she noticed Rose's broken broomstick. "Oh no, Rose! How did that happen? Here, let me go get you a new school one." she said walking away to the rack and getting one. She came back and handed it to her.
