He needed a distraction. They needed a distraction and hopefully it came in the form of the Hufflepuff Prefect Lockhart and more trophies announcements. Hehehe. Apparently this Huffie had trophies to give away as well. So, making a good use of this opportunity Josh started to pretend like he was VERY interested in the prefect's speech and the trophies giving away.
Then it happened! The thing to save him happened!!! It was great! Perfect awesome. Not only it was totally enough to distract her from the topic of him wearing that swimsuit, it had also been announced that his beloved had a trophy.
''WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!'' he exclaimed happily waving his arms about. Then, this time he had to do it, he dropped her hand and clapped for her as loudly as he could!!!

Upon hearing his voice, Josh looked around to spot Simon. Where had he been anyway?
