Evan didn't answer that comment, for he hadn't been snogging him. In fact, he believed Marie had a little time with the disgusting boy too, as far as he knew, she had been with that other lunatic Matty for the most of the summer. But, he just made a face and hoped that would do.

Psssh, Evan knew Fallon wasn't that stupid to believe him. "Four girls being official," he scoffed. But the whole world knew that he had kissed at least the triple of that four behind closed doors. He opened his mouth to tell all these, when she baffled him with all that But he lo-lo-looooves meeeee! crap.

"Yeah, SUCH a love!" he said, now getting all worked up because Fallon surely couldn't be this naïve. "It takes six months maximum. Then he'll be saying those to other girls." Evan knew, because he had to be there to console Marie in the common room.

"Yeah... it's better if we both go away... do that, please. Have the most with him while he's still interested in you," he laughed bitterly. Maybe Marie wouldn't be saying any of these, but right now Evan hardly cared. He hoped Fallon would see Finlay for what he really was, and if this stupid assignment would be a step towards that, he was more willing to act like himself.

Half-running up the stairs, he sighed at how things were. Today had shown that Marie's life was much more complicated than he'd ever thought. And one other thing was also certain that...

Fallon had changed. In the worst way possible.
