"Yes, it's me, have you forgotten what I look like?" She answered as he said her name. Making herself more comfortable and still sitting on Brae's legs, Ruby reached over and grabbed the comic book from his hands. "Lovely surprise? If you say so," She said with a snort as she perused the pictures in his comic book. Wrinkling her nose in dislike, she gave the book back; she did not like spiders or men who pretended to be spiders. "So. Didja miss me and my evil ways?" She said suddenly, grinning at Brae.
Braeden laughed lightly at Ruby's sarcastic reply.
Oh yes, this was Ruby alright. After the whole polyjuice fiasco that had the castle upside-down these past couple days, the boy was never too sure if he was talking to the right person. But clearly, this Ruby wasn't a polyjuiced clone but the real thing.

"Hey!"
The boy watched helplessly as Ruby stole his comic book and began to flip through its pages, making a face of obvious dislike. How could she not like Spiderman!? C'mon, it's SPIDERMAN! But, thankfully for the little cowardly lion, Ruby had given the comic book back. He sighed in relief as he took it into his hand. He'd half expected her to shred it into a million little pieces right before his eyes.

"'Course," Brae replied honestly as Ruby then asked if he'd missed her and her evil ways. Was it weird that he did? After all, the girl spent more time abusing him than anything else. But, alas, he was forever a masochist. "Y'know, the castle's not the same without some little redheaded troublemaker tripping you down the stairs, pushing you off your bed, and shoving your face into your breakfast plate," he added with one of those dorky lopsided grins of his.
