What havoc would the Gryffindork wreck around the castle and the grounds in Dumble's body? He shuddered at the thought. Crossing his arms, he looked towards the open door and waited for the Gryffindork's fashionably late entrance.
Braeden burst into the scene a couple minutes after Theo, his lion's mane more disheveled than ever and his chest heaved as he tried to catch his breath. He... was...
SO EXCITED!!!!
He'd
never had Polyjuice potion before, but he'd heard stories about it and, well, obviously what's been taught in class about it as well. But that didn't interest him. What interested him was the other, older students' stories about the crazy side-effects of a polyjuice potion gone wrong. Of course, Brae didn't want that for himself. But if he could witness someone else's transformation going wrong that would be awesome.
"Hey mate." He flashed his ear-to-ear lopsided grin at Theo as he dumped his backpack on the table, accidentally knocking over the Ravenclaw's cauldron, which, as if to get back at him for that, landed right on his big toe.
"AGH!"
Wincing, the Gryffindork jumped a foot back and fought back the tears before picking up the cauldron from the dungeon floor. "Sorry, sorry!" he quickly apologized. Before Theo could respond, he was already going on and on as he usually did when he was excited - "Can we start now? I'm pretty excited, aren't you? I took an unusually long shower this morning and tried fixing my hair, so you should enjoy your stay. I also made sure not to bump into anything, so you won't have to deal with any bruises. Well, except my big toe now..." and he went on and on, talking about this as if Theo was about to take his body as a hotel and vacation in it for a couple days.
Only Braeden would look at the situation that way.
