Oh, but Louisa had shown up. Vashti couldn't back out now. Aw Merlin. "Yeah, let's just do it." They just needed to get this over with.
She took the hair Louisa gave her and pulled from her pocket the vial with her own hair in it, handing it over to Louisa. Vashti then turned to drop her friend's black hair into her cauldron, watching for a moment as it slightly changed its shade before pulling a couple small cups out of her bag. She set them both on the table then began filling one up with her own potion.
"Well," she finally said as she picked up the almost-full cup, "here goes nothing." Then she put it to her lips and began to drink...
She managed to swallow most of the awful liquid before she had to set it down, spluttering, as she felt the change beginning. It was a horrid feeling, pain spreading from the inside out as everything about her appearance changed... She felt like she was going to be sick...
And then, suddenly, it stopped. Her clothes felt a little loose, but fortunately they still felt wearable, and as she glanced down, she saw that her long brown hair had become much darker, turning into a black color. It must have worked - she was Louisa.
"Well," Vashti said slowly, "how do I look?"
Louisa took the vial and tried to keep her face straight at the look of Vashti's hair inside. Luckily, when she poured the
disgusting stuff into the cup, it was gone and the muddy liquid whirled for a second or two before being steady again. "
Okay.." She raised her cups just as Vashti did and gagged all the liquid with one gulp.
The second she took the next breath, she opened her mouth in a dramatic attempt of losing the AWFUL taste of it and grabbed the desk's edge as she felt cracking bones and stretching skin... her body suddenly felt so... stiff? It was all over in the next minute and Louisa froze catching her breath.
When she looked up at Vashti, she almost fainted. It was her!! LOUISA WAS LOOKING AT HERSELF (she looked fine by the way).. after processing the shock, she managed to smile nervously at herself.. her friend. "You look... Louisa-ish." She tried to chuckle, but half chuckle and half sniff came out. Vashti's body wasn't comfy! Her back was erect, her legs felt stretched and her hair was too smooth!!
Looking down at her new body, she noticed the uniform being slightly larger than Vashti's body... but that wasn't what caught Louisa's attention. "Now I know why you're good at Quidditch.." She said, the flattery totally out of her voice tone. Although she meant it to be a compliment. "..Okay.. so... being me is easy enough, you know me. You should be fine." She took a deep sigh.
"Good lu-" She was saying when something hit her, "..Just stay away from Enya Mayberry!!" She blurted out. Nobody every would tolerate Enya but Louisa.. not even Polyjuiced Louisa! She put the nervous smile back on as not to scare herself/Vashti, "Good luck."
