This was a mean idea. Mean to him. He had been patiently waiting it to change, waited for people to realise it yet...it seemed nothing was different. The most disappointing part was that they never seemed to trust him.
Whatever...
When Iris started to speak again, though, Josh abandoned his thoughts and just nodded at her words as the expression of agreement. She was right. The sooner they got into this, the sooner it was going to be over. He believed he could stand being a figure of authority for a moment. Yea, maybe being a prefect was....meh and bleh, being the Head...Something was worse but this was just an hour after all.
''Thank you'' he murmured as he took the cup from the Slytherin girl. Then he just watched the girl took one of her long blonde hair, placing it in his hand. ''Thank you'' Josh repeated staring at her with a rather empty expression.
Well...what was he supposed to do now? Oh...right. She needed his hair. Right. RIIIIIIIIIIIIGHT. Being extra careful to keep the single long blonde hair in his hand, the Gryffindor reached to his own hair and pulled two or three stands of his dark brown hair, finally presenting them to her.
Iris looked up at the boy.
"I know..." He didn't feel like she felt like that, did he? Because that would be bad.
"... The house points and the grades are more important to me right now, though." Yes. Iris WAS going to pretend to be Josh for a day, just for those house points. Looking at the boy, Iris frowned a little guiltily.
"... It's not because I don't trust you, Josh." OK. That was a total lie... but that was irrelevant.
"I just don't fancy the idea of being a bloke, much. I'm too girly." The Head Girl smiled at the Gryffindor. Even though she didn't like him that much, it didn't hurt to hide that fact a bit.
As he pulled out a couple of his hairs, Iris took them from him and nodded in thanks. She was starting to realise that the worst part about this homework was that she was going to be brunette. Ew. Looking at the hair, Iris dropped them into the potion; watching as it bubbled and dissolved the strands of dark hair. It turned a surprisingly pleasant colour, Iris had been expecting it to become a bogey green colour. But then again, Josh had proved to her several times that he wasn't as horrible as he liked to act sometimes.
Glancing at Josh, the blonde picked up the cup.
"Well... Cheers, I guess," she said, before putting the polyjuice potion to her lips. Iris drank it quickly, before she had the chance to change her mind.
Eww... Not as nice as it looks.
Slowly, Iris felt her body changing. She could feel her hair retracting back into her head, and it was probably darkening, too. Her height shot up a few inches to Josh's height. That would be the least of her problems, though. Seeing as though the Head Girl wore heels frequently, the height would definitely be the least different thing about her.
Owww... that hurts!! Maybe it would have been a better idea to change into a girl. Then there'd be less changes to her bone structure. Feeling her hips shrink, Iris grimaced. She was going to look TERRIBLE. Completely and utterly dreadful! Well, she wouldn't... because Josh was pretty good looking. (Hey, she's being honest!) The oddest thing as she was changing into Josh definitely had to be the muscles... They grew very quickly, and they felt really peculiar.
Well. Wasn't this an odd sight. Josh Carter was now stood in the Slytherin Head Girl's robes, skirt and all. Her feet didn't fit inside her shoes any more. Ooh... that's going to make walking difficult. The bigger feet, that is. Not the small shoes. Hehe. Slowly reaching up, Iris touched her nose and cheekbones. It all felt so... different. She didn't like it. Not one bit. Then, she ran her hand through her hair. She definitely didn't like this... Her hair was all short, and it didn't even feel that nice... Gosh, had Josh never heard of conditioner?! "Um... Well... How do I look?" She asked, unsure of what else to say.
