He didn't want to give her any ideas. Especially since things hadn't been particularly good with him in terms of girls lately. He didn't want everyone Mia came into contact with for the next hour thinking he was weird or at least weirder than they already thought he was.
"And your boyfriend doesn't attend Hogwarts, right?" As in, there was no chance that he was about to get hit on, right? Being a girl he could handle. Being in her relationship... er... not so much.
Pulling out a few of her own hairs, Mia could help but grin at Carter as she held out the hair to him.
"I couldn't talk in rhymes even if I tried." But there were OTHER things she could do. She wasn't going to tell him that though, wouldn't want to scare him off or anything.
Blond snakes. She remembered that about him.
The mention of her boyfriend brought her out of her thoughts as she took hold of Carter's hair and dropped it into the potion.
"No he doesn't. So don't get any ideas." Not that she thought Carter would be go chasing after any guys while being her. Of course the same couldn't be said for her though.
"Cheers." she said holding up her goblet for a moment before downing all of the potion in one go. It was rather disgusting but she had tasted worse.
