Beth turned around and grinned when she saw William. "Hi!" She laughed, but paled when he mentioned her birthday. How did he know???!!! Oh God... She hated people knowing about her birthday, it always attracted attention, which she did not want. No. "You don't..." She began, but could feel her lungs pinch slightly as she realised he actually cared about the fact it was her birthday. "Of course I remember you!" She said, nudging him playfully. she raised her pale head above the water, then dipped it down again, her dark blue doe eyes showing above the gentle waves. She swam up again.
