The film was infinitely better than the book, or at least, the second half of it.
They really made a great character out of Voldemort, who had at least twice the amount of lines he has in the book. The scene where he hugs Draco, and his laughter, and the way he cries when he dies, and the way he reacts when his Horcruxes are destroyed -- they made a better portrayal of him than Jo.
Snape cradling Lily's body made me cry a bit, especially with "Dumbledore's Farewell" playing in the background. And his "You have your mother's eyes..."
There's really one thing that irked me: why TF does Bellatrix explode? She had no horcruxes, and she was a normal human being by anatomical standards.
And also, is that Alecto who kills Fred? Was he laughing at her when she killed him?
