Slowly walking into the cove, she admired the sheer beauty of the place. It was dry in here, with only small pools of water about. It'd make a fantastic place to camp out in... that is, assuming that the water doesn't flood the place at night time.
Walking over to a large clump of fluorescent coral, Iris plucked some from the small pool it was growing in. This place really was absolutely amazing... It had to have been hidden by some kind of magic... some kind of magic that must've faded or worn out. How else would this place have stayed so empty and hidden for so long?
Macy skipped over to the less crowded section of the lagoon, sort of half-following the blonde Slytherin prefect/head girl. To be entirely honest, she hadn't gotten a chance to get to know the girl much, which was a shame considering the term was almost over.
Following behind her at a safe distance, Macy teetered over the rocks and ducked under the waterfall into the cave. OOOOHHH. This was pretty. Especially the glowy-coral Miss Head Girl seemed to be looking at. Dripping slightly from the waterfall, as well as her earlier swim, the fourth year trotted over behind the girl, making a musical pitter-patter on the ground.
"That's pretty," Macy said, picking some herself. She wove it into her hair, creating some sort of quirky, glowing headpiece.
"I can see why they'd have wanted to hide this place- I don't think it'd be nearly as gorgeous if people had found it." Not to say that they didn't know how to take care of things, just that the place wouldn't be quite so pure and serene.
