Rose stood alone and fidgeting as Albus’s reassuring hand left hers as he was called forward, as he sat down on the seat she chewed her lip nervously, partially for him but mostly for her. She watched him sit down and saw the hat placed on his head
The hat debated for a minute before shouting
“SLYTHERIN”
Rose’s hands fell open and her mouth turned down
"Weasley, Rose"
She herself went and sat on the seat as the hat was placed on her head, almost as soon as it was placed
"GRYFFINDOR!"
She walked alone to her table, ignoring the cheers |
