The official Pottermore.com Twitter released two new previews about the Hogwarts Express and its history, written by J.K. Rowling. Not much is revealed from the author, as the whole history is blurred, but the teaser noted that precedence showed other means to travel to Hogwarts than just the train from London to Scotland.
