A lame one-armed hug wasn't going to suffice for Dallin. No, he was happy he'd gotten a shape out of the dumb mist. So happy, in fact, that he picked up Louisa in a big hug and spun around. He didn't even think about being embarrassed when he set her back down on the floor. Even if the dog hadn't stayed for long it had still shown up. And that was enough for Dal right now.

"Swinging," he told her. His ears and cheeks flushed in embarrassment but he hardly noticed. "The tire swings." He was grinning.

Now he just hoped Louisa could do it.
