I think it's great that Dan at least realized he had a problem and stopped. I can't say I'm surprised he ever got involved with alcohol in the first place; that's common with child stars growing up. What's not so common is those stars realizing that what they are doing is not right or not them and stopping. I think what Dan did showed a lot of maturity and intelligence. And I'm glad we got to hear this straight from him (can u imagine if someone else had heard about this? They would have twisted this story sooo much!!)
